1. The horizontal tensile testing machine is suitable for testing the mechanical properties of various plastic films, flexible packaging, and other packaging materials, including tensile, peel, heat seal, and tear tests.

The specimen is clamped between the two grips of the horizontal fixture. The two grips move relative to each other in the horizontal direction. A load cell mounted on the moving grip and a built-in displacement sensor collect changes in force and displacement during the test, thereby calculating performance indicators such as tensile properties, tear properties, and deformation rate of the specimen. The horizontal tensile mode reduces the influence of specimen self-weight on test results and is more suitable for mechanical property testing of long strip and large-deformation specimens.
