Intended Use:

Used in conjunction with Gas Chromatographs (GC).

Operating Principle:

The headspace sampler is a sample pretreatment device for gas chromatography (GC) analysis. Compared with other pretreatment methods such as solvent extraction and thermal desorption, it offers advantages including greater simplicity, higher efficiency, and superior reproducibility of analytical results. It is one of the preferred methods for quantitative and qualitative GC analysis.

Product Features:

  1. One-click automatic operation after loading samples, requiring no manual intervention.
  2. LCD display with an intuitive interface and one-click start. Processes including heating equilibration, needle insertion, sampling, injection, triggering the GC/workstation, and vial replacement are fully automated.
  3. Can preset up to 30 samples for unattended operation, significantly improving the reliability and consistency of analytical work.
  4. Features multiple fault diagnosis modes; it automatically detects vial positions and skips empty slots. The system prevents vial collisions in case of positioning errors and auto-stops with alerts during abnormal mechanical movements, ensuring high-precision reliability and preventing hardware damage.
  5. All sample transfer lines and quantitative loops utilize imported high-inertness deactivated tubing to ensure zero residue and cross-contamination, guaranteeing high repeatability and accuracy.
  6. The combination of a six-way valve and quantitative loop minimizes dead volume to ensure injection precision.
  7. The connection between the six-way valve and the transfer line is located within the heated enclosure to eliminate cold spots, ensuring sample integrity.
  8. Employs the classic positive-pressure sampling method, suitable for solid specimens with high sensitivity. It uses atmospheric pressure injection to prevent baseline drift.
  9. All movements are driven by rotary pneumatic cylinders, ensuring safe and convenient operation.
  10. The main structure is made of aluminum alloy with a plastic outer shell, ensuring rigidity while significantly reducing weight for safer transportation.
  11. Strong compatibility; easily connects with various domestic and international GC models. It can synchronously trigger the GC and workstation and read the "Ready" signal for coordinated operation.
  12. Optional six-way valves for different operating temperatures and imported inert injection needles are available based on customer requirements.
  13. Can be equipped with an Electronic Pneumatic Control (EPC) system to reduce manual adjustment errors.
  14. Equipped with an RS232 interface for communication with the workstation, allowing all parameters to be configured via software.
