Operating Principle:
The Gas Chromatograph (GC) utilizes an inert gas as the mobile phase and employs column separation technology. As the analyte mixture enters the chromatographic column, individual components move at different rates due to their varying distribution coefficients within the column. Once separated, the components sequentially enter the detector, where they are converted into electrical signals and sent to a data workstation for comprehensive qualitative and quantitative analysis.
