Intended Use:
Professionally designed for testing the hot tack and heat seal performance of packaging materials such as plastic films and composite films. It is also applicable for peel and tensile tests of flexible materials including adhesives, tapes, labels, adhesive composites, paper, and other laminated structures.
Operating Principle:
Two layers of film specimens are heat-sealed together. Immediately following the sealing process, the specimen is pulled so that the hot seal area is peeled apart by an impact rod. The force required is measured to evaluate the hot tack strength of the material.
