Intended Use:
This ink abrasion tester is specifically designed to evaluate the rub resistance of printed ink layers on various substrates. Based on international standard rubbing loads and regulated speeds, it performs reciprocal friction tests on specimens such as paper, paperboard, and leather to determine ink adhesion and durability.
Operating Principle:
The abrasion resistance of the ink or coating layer is determined by measuring the reduction in optical density (or coating thickness) before and after the friction test.
