Specifically designed for determining the impact resistance of plastic films, sheets, and other materials. It is widely utilized across the packaging industry, by film manufacturers, and within packaging material inspection agencies.
At the commencement of the test, the appropriate test method is selected, and an initial mass along with a constant increment (Δm) is estimated. If the first specimen fails, the falling mass is decreased byΔm ; if it holds, the mass is increased byΔm . In essence, the adjustment of the falling mass depends entirely on the failure or integrity of the preceding specimen. After testing 20 specimens, the total number of failures (N) is counted. If N=10, the test is complete. If N<10 , additional specimens are tested until N=10 . If N>10 , testing continues until the number of non-failures equals 10. The system then automatically calculates the impact failure mass (the "staircase" result).
- Dual Test Modes: Supports both Method A and Method B testing requirements.
- Precision & Automation: Delivers accurate results with user-friendly operation and automatic data printing.
- Smart Interface: Features a menu-driven color touchscreen for rapid and convenient configuration of test parameters.
- Low Maintenance: Designed for simplicity in routine upkeep and maintenance.
- Electromagnetic Release: Employs electromagnetic suction for dart suspension and automatic release, effectively eliminating systematic errors caused by manual handling.
