Intended Use

Used in conjunction with Gas Chromatographs (GC).

Operating Principle

The headspace sampler is a sample pretreatment device for gas chromatography (GC) analysis. Compared with other pretreatment methods such as solvent extraction and thermal desorption, it offers advantages including greater simplicity, higher efficiency, and superior reproducibility of analytical results. It is one of the preferred methods for quantitative and qualitative GC analysis.

Product Features

  1. The heating positions in the sample chamber are arranged in a matrix, with uniform heating, small volume and low power consumption.
  2. All sample transmission pipelines and quantitative loops are made of imported highly inert deactivated pipelines, with no residue and no cross-contamination, ensuring high repeatability and accuracy of sample injection.
  3. The combination of the six-port valve and the quantitative loop minimizes the gas volume, ensuring the injection precision, and the maximum operating temperature can reach 200°C.
  4. The connection point between the six-port valve and the transmission pipeline is located inside the heating and heat preservation chamber, with no cold spots during transmission, ensuring the integrity of the sample.
  5. Adopting the classic positive pressure sampling method, it can measure liquid or solid samples, with high detection sensitivity. It performs injection under normal pressure, and the baseline does not drift.
  6. The six-port valve is driven by a motor, without the need for an external driving gas, which is safe and convenient to use.
  7. With an integrated design, the whole machine has a compact structure. It is controlled by a microcomputer and has a full Chinese liquid crystal display, making the operation simple and convenient.
  8. Equipped with a universal drive interface, it can automatically start the chromatograph and the workstation to work in coordination.
  9. It can communicate with the workstation, and various parameters can be set on the workstation.
